Star Nursery KAL Kit
Special Event, Limited Edition Color Kits
Especially designed for our upcoming (January 5, 2024) "Star Nursery" KAL, these kits will be created using a variety of our most advanced, proprietary hand painting techniques for fiber arts. (We got permission from NASA to use their image for this offering as well as on our KAL ads and materials.)
Kits will be dyed between mid-October 2023 and mid-December 2023 with all kits being shipped during that second half of December 2023.
Kit Choices, and What You Get
3-Color Palette: (300g) Three colorways* inspired by this "Pillars of Creation" image in your choice of available Group A yarn bases.
5-Color Shawlography Kit: (500g) Five colorways* inspired by this "Pillars of Creation" image in your choice of available Group A yarn bases.
*Optional: Choose either "I am interested in adding beads later" or "I am not interested in beads". We are not sure if we are going to be able to add beads to the kits or not, as it depends on how many people want beads and whether we can get a good bulk price on them. If you do want beads and we decide we can add them, we will add the cost to your invoice and you will receive a bill by email to approve that additional expense.
We will send out emails in advance regarding the bead decision and if we decide to add them, what the cost will be. This way you change your mind one way or the other, you will be able to let us know.
Our hand painted yarns are micro-brewed by individual fine artists. Variations between hanks reflect the beauty of these one-of-a-kind, artist creations. When you order multiple hanks in the same colorway, they are dyed in one batch and great care is taken to match hue, tint/shade, variegation, and sprinkles. Even with that, there may be some variations between hanks ... such is the nature of our fine art fiber products.
