Hello again … again

Joan Feather ArtI’m ba-aack … and for my November 21, 2025 podcast my sister Joan joined me once again for a chat about creativity and how I came to become interested in podcasting. My journey has been a delightful surprise to me as it has unfolded and my goals and purposes of my lifetime have become renewed and revived! Here is the picture of the work of art Joan mentioned in the podcast.

I love her beautiful, richly colored watercolor / pen and ink mixed media pieces.  They reflect her whimsy, talent, and skill so beautifully!

If you have an interest in her beautiful watercolors, pen and ink, and colored pencil works you migth enjoy a set of her greeting cards, which you can find –> here.

Watercolor notecard by JoanJoan joined me again for Episode 2 of my podcast.  This is the handpainted Mother’s Day card we spoke about on the show.  Notice the beautiful pen and ink lines details within the watercolor painting.  I love her technique!  Last year Joan created her own coloring book and published it on Amazon.  The coloring book, titled “Hearts and Feathers, A Magical Journey in Coloring”, features 32 original hand drawn (and amazing!) illustrations coloring enthusiasts will find enchanting and refreshing.  Check it out on Amazon (this is not an affiliate link, it is just one sister being proud of another sister and sharing her book).  Joan wore every hat necessary in the creation and production of the coloring book, and you will see it is very professional, fun, and beautiful … as is she.

Zentangle pen and ink with watercolor, by JoanMeet my sister, Joan, from Episode 1.  With Mother’s Day right around the corner, Joan and I enjoyed a cozy chat about our dear mother Betty’s beauty and the many ways her creative spirit has influenced and shaped our lives. Joan has recently started her blog, Arts by Joan Blog where you can learn more about her journey.

You can also check out her beautiful art on her professional storefront. This painting, “Tangled Colors,” is one of my very favorites but she shows a lovely range of subjects, styles, and media. See for yourself at ArtsbyJoan.com — but tighten your shoe laces because she just might knock your socks off!
