It’s been a great day here in RI, my husband & I have been cleaning our asparagus, iris, & peonies beds plus a few other gardens, we have another week or so to go In our yard then we will move on to some of our customers. This is our part time job doing lawns & gardens so we can enjoy our cabin in the woods of Maine in winter. I am also knitting but right now I’m working on a peacock in counted cross stitch on navy blue while I can still see working on dark fabric. We are both in our seventies & really feel great this Spring as we both have been losing weight. I’ve lost 20 #, he has lost 28#, it has made a big difference in what I am able to do outside this year.Hoping for 30 more by the end of the year.

I loved this winter too, time for reading, making soup, naps & being still. To everything there is a season….I am ready for spring and loved the warm air & sunshine today.
